To equip the learner with the skills to manage his/her personal finance and to develop a personal budget or a budget for a small or micro business based on own circumstances. The course recognises that personal financial success is closely linked to the success of an SMME owned or run by the individual. The need to separate the finances of the business from the personal finances of the owner is explored and participants gain an understanding of the independence of a small business.
