BUSINESS ORIENTATION

AIM OF THE MODULE

Learners who successfully complete this module will be able to identify business ideas and opportunities that can add value to small or start-up businesses. The programme will also allow for the development of entrepreneurial skills that will enable learners to grow their individual businesses. The content of the programme is linked to community based projects and it includes an introduction to costing and pricing.

• Identify the importance of community based projects
• Apply basic project management skills
• Identify small business opportunities
• Compile a personal growth plan
