AIM OF THE MODULE
This module is aimed at learners who would like to develop personal characteristics of an entrepreneur that will ensure the successful operation of a new venture. The learner will develop strategies to work effectively in a group and in an entrepreneurial context. It introduces to the learner economic, administrative and behavioral barriers that can contribute to business failure.
LEARNING OUTCOMESOn completion of this module the learner will be able to:
- Describe and discuss entrepreneurship
- Conduct a market investigation
- Make costing and pricing decisions
- Demonstrate an understanding of selling principles
- Implement money management procedures
- Write a business overview
